Job Description:
The Keg Creek Brewing Co Taproom Beertender contributes to the daily operations of the taproom and assists the taproom manager in providing a positive experience to our customers.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:
  • Serve craft beers and with training, maintain an understanding of all Keg Creek craft products and be able to communicate this knowledge effectively
  • Conduct cash and credit transactions
  • Welcome guests providing exceptional, friendly customer service
  • Follow all Keg Creek taproom procedures and protocols for opening and/or closing taproom while following directions given by taproom manager while working as a team member with fellow Beer Tenders
  • Assist Keg Creek manager with special events, promotions, and private parties
  • Maintaining cleanliness of taproom and surrounding serving areas

SHIFT: Rotating Days and Evenings
PART-TIME POSITION: 8 – 20 hours/week

Job Description:
This role assists and supports brewery operations across all aspects with the main focus of packaging/cellaring and some brewing processes.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:
  • Packaging in cans and kegs
  • Fermentation management
  • Beer transfers
  • Carbonating
  • Monitoring inventories
  • General upkeep of the brewery


Position Requirements:

Skills required and/or desired:


  • Some production experience in cellar, operations, processing or related is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision when required
  • Good communication skills


Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift 55 lbs to shoulder height and team lift, push or pull 165 lbs
  • Must be able to work on your feet for 8 hours or more
  • Must be able to crouch, bend, lift, twist, and reach
  • Must be willing to use ladders & lifts
  • Must be able to work in hot, cold, wet, loud, and unpredictable environments
  • Must be able to work around electricity and harsh chemicals
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a production-line setting
  • This position may come into direct contact with hazardous materials such as chemicals, noise, and equipment. Hazardous materials include CO2 as well as loud noises as part of the brewing process

Job Description:
Keg Creek Brewing Co is a 15 barrel brewhouse with 15, 30, and 45 barrel fermenters and brite tanks. We also maintain/use our original 3 barrel brew house to help develop recipes. The plant is built for distribution in a two/three-state area while also focusing on sales out of the taproom. We produce and offer our 8 base beers with up to 15 creative rotating beers.
The Assistant Brewer will assist our Head Brewer on brew days, perform the primary functions of the cellar, and have the opportunity to lead their own brews and recipes on our pilot system.
The Assistant Brewer position may require some assisting in our Taproom.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:
  • Malt handling
  • Finished beer handling – racking, transferring, carbonation, kegging, packaging, monitoring, etc.
  • Dry hopping & other post brewing operations
  • Cleaning: CIP brewery equipment/tanks, cleaning the overall facility.
  • Brewery organization & management.
  • Draft line cleaning
  • Attending & actively participating in team meetings & planning
  • Participation in events both on and off-site.


Position Requirements:
  • Professional brewery experience and/or professional training
  • General computer skills
  • Reliable transportation
  • Professional personal presentation and brand representation

Job Description:
Brewers will lead recipe formulation, yeast management, ordering supplies, coordinating packaging, help with distribution, etc. This position offers exciting working and growth opportunities to a passionate brewer.
Ideal person has brewed on at least a 15 BBL system in full production, has created and brewed more than 10 styles of beer, has at least 4 years on the brew deck, and has knowledge of all aspects of brewery operations as well as packaging. This person needs the ability to re-create timeless Keg Creek Brewing classics and have a passion for developing new beers that will become brewery favorites.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:
  • Share responsibilities for the entire brewing and quality control processes
  • Be well versed in scheduling, brewing, cellaring, and packaging operations
  • Recipe development; create award-winning beers
  • Manage raw materials, inventory control, scheduling, and hop contracts
  • Sanitary sampling, yeast cell counts, and record-keeping of all beers produced
  • Cellar operations including CIP, tank transfer, sanitation procedures
  • Equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Coordinating operations with Taproom, packaging, maintenance, QC, and shipping


Position Requirements:
  • Strong verbal communication and organization skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well in a team environment
  • Hands-on leadership skills for developing and training a team
  • Good understanding of quality assurance/quality control and problem-solving skills
  • Manage client & vendor relationships
  • Understand barrel aging, yeast strains, hop varieties, grain varieties, grain roasts, sours, etc.
  • Participation in events, festivals, promotions, etc. (this is a must)

We are seeking servers who enjoy what they do. We have great guests who have been with us for 10+ years. Must be able to commit to work at least 8-10 shifts per month, including weekends. We need openers and closers. Keg Creek Brewing is looking for people that enjoy people.
